RAWWWRR...

Man, I came SO close to complete road-rage this morning.

I was driving to work and a complete and total fucking asshole, pardon my language, decided that they would either move into the spot in front of me or die in the process.  This, mind you, while we were *just moving out* following a red light.  I was the third car through in the far right ( Read more... )

I would love to do some "outside poking around" but I have ME Feast tomorrow and a Raze a Village meeting Sunday. And then California again next weekend.

Don't worry, I plan on doing this a lot; I didn't get out last weekend and I missed it. And you're welcome to come along any time you want, I like the company... I am NOT a fast hiker, though, or a gung-ho hill climber or anything; I kind of ramble along aimlessly, stop lots, and have many "Ooooh shiny!" moments.

Have fun in CA!

Rambling and looking at stuff is awesome. I did it in the woods as a child and miss it if I think about it. And there's a 17th St. Market expedition in my future. I need fresh mint and some matcha tea powder. I am now fascinated with the concept of flavored salts and plan on making some. Oh, and I'm almost out of tahini.

Okay, then, future trips! And I wanna make these. Not edible, but they look like fun!

I always want to curse people to be aware of their own breathing, all the time. Or their blinking.

One curse I thought up a while back that I think'd be *particularly* effective would be a Stuff-Won't-Work curse-- no electronic media or equipment would function for the bearer of the curse, not a car or a lightswitch, not a watch or a cellphone or even something as simple as a stapler.

Another'd be one where everything they ate or drank tasted of vinegar. Nothing drastic or harmful, just... appropriate.

Glochids. Those little invisible prickly pear stickers that are almost impossible to find and remove completely. Every time you touch something, oh crap there's a couple more. They are among the most annoying things ever.

Oh lord...my sister and I were on the highway once, driving to a different city to go to a show. I pulled over into the left lane to let a guy in a black truck on at a ramp. We go for about another thirty seconds, with him almost exactly parallel to my car (so I'm sure I wasn't in his blind spot) when he suddenly starts PULLING OVER. Into the space that I am occupying. I had to swerve onto the shoulder while laying on the horn like I have never done before. It was scarier because if he had hit us, it was going to be on my sister's side, and she could have gotten hurt D:

Stupid people should not be allowed to drive. Neither should old guys in black pickups who talk on their cell phone.

**nods** I won't talk on my cell in the car if I'm driving. I'm glad y'all weren't hurt!

*hugs you* I'm glad you weren't hurt. I think we should go find them and then I can work off some of my frustration.

I'm ALL for that. Long day? Is this a Waffle House evening, because if it is I am *right there*.

It started at 9am with a /long/ fucking training about medication handling that involved reading aloud and explaining what different forms were for. The sad thing? We only finished about half of it. Thank God I won't be here for the second half. We literally looked at all the client forms and had to discuss how each one relates to meds. *pounds head on the desk* I have to beg out of Waffle House as money is tight the next two but after that hopefully we will be caught up with things and will be able to go do more.
