To everybody who responded to yesterday's LJ entry:  my deepest thanks for all your sympathy and kindness about Cori and Bel.  It isn't any easier now-- I miss my little ones very much-- but it will get that way eventually, I know that.  I have many good memories of my furry kids, and sooner or later those will replace yesterday's bad memories.
