(no subject)
Tonight, I did some serious knitting (ie: more than a few rows) for the first time in close to a year. It felt really good. Sometimes, I feel my levels of happiness are linked directly to the amount and quality of my creative output. Second year was my happiest, and my most productive writing and knitting wise.
I'm making a Jayne hat. I bought the yarn a while ago, but my role as the tank in our new party has spurred me on. The fact that I've named my character, the big barbarian thug, Jayne certainly helps and I will enjoy wearing the hat while playing. Pretty cunning, don't you think?
I put on Fellowship too, which I haven't watched in ages. It comes in pints? I'd forgotten how much I [heart] hobbits.
I am going to the Brown Reunion! This was initially a source of stress and sadness for me as it brought up feelings from last year, but now I'm simply looking forward to it. I've got a hotel room booked to share with Jocylynn and Courtney and have already paid up a disgusting amount for Trindle's retirement dinner. It will be good to see everyone.
Tomorrow is B&N in cafe all day, Anna's shindig in the evening and on Sunday it's either FUDGEing or FATEing. Huzzah!
