Not too long ago, a friend suggested that I make a list of my favorite Perfume songs so I’m doing it right now to spread the Perfume love. Choosing my top 5 is hard since there are so many, so many great Perfume songs out there! This is a personal list so my apologies if your favorite is not on the list. You could do yours too to spread the Perfume love more! <3

Just a little bit of a background on how did I become a Perfume fan:

When Animax Philippines was still airing Music Station way back in 2008, I saw Perfume performing Polyrhythm. However, I didn’t become a follower yet then. When 2010 came during a roadtrip, I had two of their albums on repeat (GAME and Complete Best). That was the time I fell in love with their music but only in 2012, I became an active fan and follower.

So here’s my top 5 favorite Perfume songs:

1. Chocolate Disco

Chocolate Disco will be forever one of my favorite Perfume songs. When I went to a roadtrip to Laoag, Ilocos Norte, Philippines in 2010, I had Perfume’s GAME album on repeat. I fell in love with their song Chocolate Disco at that time. This song is about women giving chocolates on Valentine’s day in Japan. I find it really unique since we don’t have that practice here in the Philippines. I also love the repetitive lyrics “Chocolate Disco! Chocolate Disco!” and when A-chan screams “Chocolate Disco” during their live performances.

2. Kiss and Music

Kiss and Music is my most favorite track in their ⊿ album. When I saw their performance for this (the video above), I immediately fell in love with it.

3. Computer City

Between Party Maker and edge, I choose edge (⊿-mix) since I love the beat and dance for this song more. I was able to witness a live performance of this when I went to their live in Singapore last World Tour 1st. And, I sure loved it! <3

How about you? What are your favorite Perfume songs?
