things are finally right again on the home front and hubbs spent an entire day with me today.
he sent me to uni, waited for me and then picked me up when i was done with classes and we headed for lunch.
decided on dimsum and so yea, we headed to our usual haunt- SharksFin House.
it wasn't as busy today, thankfully! so we had a slow lunch, just talking and enjoying each others' company. well, i certainly enjoyed his company, i'm not sure about him though.. =P
after lunch, we headed off on a very long journey to get Novelty donuts! well, it's really famous in Australia.
Krispy Kremes!!! they just opened a branch up in Victoria so i HAD to go there to get some. the drive took us close to an hour!
hubbs kept asking (even though he was the one at the wheel), are we there yet? are we almost there yet?
he was getting pretty frustrated driving. so anyways, after close to 45 mins we got there and to our horror! there was a massive queue!
again, we had to wait in line, but they are pretty smart i must say, they made a drive thru line as well as store front line. and the drive thru line was almost as long as the store front one, so we decided to just stay in the car since it was freezing chickens out!
it took us close to 1/2 an hour to get to the order station finally. n i decided, well, since we were there, might as well get more!
and i ordered 6-dozen boxes. each box contained 12, and it was all assorted. i decided who i wanted to give it to and well, ended up keeping three for ourselves! we're gonna be on a high sugar and carb diet for the next 2 days! i've attached pics of my very proud stash of krispy kreme donuts!! don't drool all over the screen kae..? :P
