apartment
i moved into my first apartment 2 weeks ago. it's pretty nice to have my own place to come home to without hearing my mom and step dad bitching at each other and my sister bitching about anything and everything :)
it's also kind of scary when i'm there alone, especially at night, because i haven't lived in an apartment setting where i've had someone above me for a long time.. so my paranoia starts to kick in and i feel like people are trying to get inside my place.
yesterday paul went to walk buster and spotty while i cleaned out spotty's cage. keep in mind this is the first time that i didn't run to the door and immediately lock it, because i guess i was starting to feel a sense of comfort, or maybe it was because the sun hadn't set.. but anyway, all of a sudden i hear a knock at the door. the door was unlocked, but i still ran to the door and all of a sudden i realize.. i didn't lock the door.. not many people know where i live, and those that do are my loud friends that wouldn't knock so quietly. all of a sudden i heard a guy talking to himself outside my door. i put my ear to the door and he was saying bible verses into my door. it creeped me OUT. this seriously lasted for about 5 minutes. i had no idea what the hell was going on, why this guy was outside my door just saying bible verses, so i thought i was going to be killed. he finally left, and then paul got home with the dogs. he showed me a little church pamphlet that the guy had left, and i felt kind of stupid. i mean, i couldn't see him through the peephole because i'm not tall enough.
but other than that everything is good. i just hope no one else creepy comes to my door and gives me a heart attack.
