mmmm. vino.
it has become the center of my universe as of late, because of this new job i've got. Training finished up tonight, and I have already learned some interesting tips about wine quality and serving wine. it's such a nice, sophisticated place...and there will be live jazz. I'm really excited about opening day. It is supposed to be tomorrow but it doesn't look like it will open until midweek this coming week. The other staff members are awesome, all so friendly and easy to talk to. My boss is almost 32 he said, and looks fresh out of grad school. He's a great boss, not at all intimidating, but definitely about business. I think I needed this. My trip to georgia and my birthday served as a great segway from my funk to a new phase of the year. I am beginning to make new friends at the job and it's filling my normally dull evening hours during the week.
Meanwhile, I feel I am keeping up with school pretty well. It is about that time where I've got a few grades under my belt and I've got a good idea of how much harder I need to buckle down. I've given myself enough time to unhinge myself from my unhealthy desire for the boy overseas...and I am feeling better for it...and less insane. We keep in touch...'nuff said.
I think that's all I've got for now. Parents are coming this weekend, it's exciting.
Oh, and sunday was my birthday. Huzzah! I am finally 21.
