Ha, Funniest coincidence evar.
My sister and I went to this used bookstore on Castro Street in Mountain view. Nice place, really confusing. Anyways, she was intrigued when I mentioned I wanted the "His Dark Materials" trilogy. Me and her go there, and buy the three, a totally mismatching set, books.
That was scenario one.
Second was a while ago, when I was whining to Matt that I wanted my own copy. It was duly noted.
Day after I bought the books from scenario 1, Matt tells me he bought a complete set as well.
So, I currently have two, one that my sister expects to pay for half, and the other from a not quick enough boyfriend for my birthday.
GUH, WHAT DO I DO MATES?!?
Considering the situation on my own, I've got a bunch of random ideas and no clue as to what to do.
->Used ones: I have no idea if I could return it. I could just give them to my sister and keep the boyfriend copy for myself... but it seems like a waste of money. Should I have the boyfriend buy something else?
