Well, school has started. My classes seem pretty straight forward, now all I have to do is read a whole bunch of the textbooks, memorize everything in them, and I'll be set. It would probably help if I HAD my human bio textbook though.
Anyway, I'm ASMing Two Gentlemen of Verona and SMing Chelonia, which is a dance concert. Next semester, I believe I'm going to be doing sound for Angels In America. I am also working 6 hours a week in the scene shop. It will be a fun year filled with so-so to bad plays/musicals.
I've been working for BJSO, but so far it's just not working out with my schedule, so after the show that I'm working this weekend for, I do believe I am going to stop working for them at least for this semester. We'll see about next semester when it comes.
I officially declared my majors as Psychology and Theatre Arts: Conc. in Stage Management. I got my two new advisers, one which I've basically already been seeing, since he's the technical director and we talk often.
I am starting a radio show with my friends Stephen and William Byron Brasington. It's every Friday from 6pm-7pm. Unfortunately, I'm working on Friday during that time, so it appears I'm going to have to call in in order to be able to do my segments for the show. It's talk radio, and hopefully will be a good time.
Auditions for the stand-up/sketch comedy group that Stephen, William and I are starting are Thursday, which is tonight. I have to duck out on one of the auditions because of BJSO again, but I will be there for the others. We hope people actually show up, but if only a couple do, I'm sure we'll figure something out. 12,000 BC will happen.
That pretty much sums up my start to school. Hopefully everything will fall into place, but if not, I'll just cut something from the schedule. Alright, time to get me some sleep.
