So my hatred of US Cellular has increased tenfold. I found out that I wasn't receiving certain phone calls. What that means is, a person would call, it would ring on their end and eventually go to my voicemail, and on my end my phone would not ring period. It didn't received a call at all, nothing in missed calls or anything. And then I would randomly receive voicemail messages.
Well I went into US Cellular and explained the problem so they sent the phone back to the manufacturer to be repaired. Well they couldn't reproduce the problem, so they kept my phone and told me I had to buy a brand new phone, of the same kind of course, because my warrantee was "up". Except it's not because I had been bringing my phone to them before it expired for this problem and it still hadn't been fixed.
Now, I might have had hope for this new phone, if the loner phone they had given me had worked. However, toward the end of my having the loner phone I had the same exact problem happen. This lead me to realize that it wasn't my old phone, but the damned US Cellular service itself. So I go in and pick up my brand new $125 phone, of which I'm not going to pay for when they try and bill us, and what happens with my first call? It does the exact same thing, rings rings and goes to voicemail with nothing happening on my end. Less than 1/2 an hour with my new phone and the problem is still there.
Well, by now, I have had my phone for 3 days, and I have received 5 voicemails and have only gotten 4 received call and 0 missed calls. That means my phone doesn't receive over 1/2 of the calls that it should be getting. Therefore, I will tell you all to try my cell phone first, and if it goes to my voicemail, LEAVE A VOICEMAIL!!!! Because I will most likely call you back within a minute of receiving the voicemail.
