Proof!!!!
What an amazing movie!!! So I finally decided to watch "Proof" which I downloaded a week or two ago, and I've been meaning to watch. My enthusiasm for Stage Managing was starting to drop a bit, so I thought maybe watching the movie would help me out. It sure did.
I mean, there were aspects of it that I didn't like, which is true with any theatrical thing, but they did an amazing job with it. I mean, they were reading the script. The ordering wasn't the same, but it was a great order for a movie, and I liked some of very few new monologues that they placed in the movie that weren't in the play.
Very well done in my opinion though. I didn't like Robert at the very beginning, but I thought that his part got much better as the movie went on. Anyway, just thought I'd tell people that as soon as "Proof" is out on video, you have to go buy it! Or rent it at least, it's worth every cent in my opinion.
