Monestry’s latest post reminds me that there are so many things to put in my to-do list for this semester’s holiday. What I have in hand is more than just the stacks of unread novels (Dear John, Inheritance, Daughter of Smoke & Bone, A Good and Happy Child, A Time To Dance and Die, Neil Armstrong Is My Uncle, Negeri di Ujung Tanduk, Veronika Decides to Die, The Reader, and more books my friends enthusiastically recommended to me) which I previously bought in impulse. Bad habit.
Like what I’ve said in my previous post, I’m joining the OSKM graphic team as a part of publication committee. That’s why, compared to last year, I have to spend more time in Bandung than at my parent’s house back in Tangerang for this holiday. It’s a little bit sad because I haven’t go back to Tangerang in five months, but that’s the risk. Beside, this is my only chance to take part in OSKM team because next year is internship. (Speaking of internship, I can hear my poor little self at the back of my mind crying in remorse. GAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!).
Anyway, as long as I still can go back to Tangerang, then all is okay. I have booked the travel car to Tangerang for next Friday afternoon. I’ll be at my parent’s house until June 9th.
I can go back home, finally! \(;w;)/
Arriving at home would mean more things I want to do. First has to be taking charge at the kitchen. I’m going to try making various egg dishes and other foods for Ramadhan preparation. Baking a pan of potato macaroni schotel, too. It’s a must. Also, if I remember it right, my mom bought a big pack of roasted seaweed just before I went to Bandung last holiday. I don’t know if she still keeps it in the kitchen cabinet until now-and I’m not sure if it’s still edible by now?-but I’ll make one, anyway. No, I won’t use the sushi roller mat I made from straw. I’ve bought a decent bamboo roller mat at Daiso yesterday, thank you very much.
I’m thinking of tidying the whole kitchen, too. Not sure if I really will do this one, though. But my mom seriously needs a new cutting board (I have a hard time using the half-split board), wooden spatula, and wall hooks.
As for the places I want to visit with my family, maybe the beach resort-I really want to watch the sunrise!-or Seaworld Ancol. Or Taman Ismail Marzuki for the planetarium or the musical show if there’s one going on. I remember hating on the planetarium so much when I was in grade school because I was very terrified of dark places haha.
Aside from those plans, I want to complete the requests I got plus finishing the abandoned self-projects in my ‘WIP’ folder. God, I haven’t even finished the lemur painting I started last January.
I have a feeling my to-do list will grow more tha just those. We’ll see that later so let’s talk about the things I did yesterday and today.
I watched EPIC with the usual bunch yesterday. I thought this movie would fail my expectation because the beginning part was just meh until the slug and snail entered the scene. Typical ridiculously funny fellows (even though I couln’t stand them most of the time. You know how I hate those kind of animals with all my heart) and the queen turned out to be a badass *O*
Overall, EPIC’s storyline was… quite entertaining. I felt that it lacked the element of surprise but not so bad. As for the graphic, it was definitely just like what the title said. 8.5 out of 10!
My friends and I stayed in the studio until the credit ended, hoping for an extra scene to appear without early notice just like in Marvel movies, but there was none, of course lol. We headed to campus afterward for seniors’ portfolios exhibition (which got my eyes blinded by the awesomeness and tears of fear ;_;) then lunch.
Nea stayed overnight at my place again. We talked about a lot of topic that always strayed off far from the previous one and eventually had fun with our own business-she with her comic assignment and I with my…
Yuuyasaver doodle.
Today, OSKM graphic team had a meeting with the artistic team at the campus at 1 pm, socializing the concept for the new student orientation event. Because it ended at 4, I headed to the nearest mall to buy new shoes as the replacement for the recently damaged one (my favorite ankle boots ;_;). I searched for one that would match my floral vintage dresses and, luckily, I found the one that almost looked like what I had in mind. With cheaper price, on top of that :D
Saw these pretty t-shirts at the next store. Bought them in impulse and I have no regret.
I actually bought this denim jacket a few weeks ago at the Friday thrift store. It looks cool but surprisingly flashy if I wear it. I haven’t worn it much.
When was the last time I posted pictures of clothes here? Lol. Well, that is all for tonight’s post. I hope there won’t be much stuff I have to pack and bring to Tangerang. Also, hello
mirazuki_yuuri ichigocherry monestry guys?????
Have a good night, all o/
