Today is a perfect day except for today's class which was terrible. It was only Photography class and all I had to do was listening to my friends' presentations, but the terrible thing was when the topic the other group discussed was exactly the same as my group's.
You see, we were free to choose any photographer we like as a topic for the presentation. My group chose Marcus Nilsson, a food photographer, for the topic. We were really excited to present him to the class because his stuff were fun to talk about. But then turned out that another group, whose turn was four groups before ours, brought up the same Marcus Nilsson for their presentation. I was greatly upset because the effort my group had spent was crushed that easily!
We have to re-do the assignment from the scratch, which is just the same as working on the same homework twice. We have to find another photographer and it is not an easy work even though there's internet. There's no way I can bring up ta topic about some random photographers if I'm not even interested with their works, no matter how famous or great they are.
Sigh. I'll start searching for one after posting this and a long nice shower.
Fortunately, I didn't stay upset for more than thirty minutes. I felt better when the class ended―Nadia kept patting my head throughout the class―and a lot better when I went shopping with Ika and Wiwin for old magazines (for Monday class's assignment) and ONE MORE NEW SHOES!
I know I have been abusing my debit card, I know, but I couldn't help it! It was a really rare chance to find a pretty heeled shoes with cost under 170k IDR ;u;
There was one black ankle boots that looked like leather pantofel shoes. It was very adult-like but the size was 39 while my foot is 40. Such a pity. So I went with my other option and it had my size.
Sporty, low-heeled, and broken white. So pretty ❤
Nothing much going on in this week. Just the class getting more loads of homework and the project I'm doing is going quite smoothly.
And btw, I think I have talked about it before but I haven't explained it properly.
DKV Department will hold an exhibition called "NATAMORTA". It will include more than a hundred works by the students of DKV ITB that revolves around the themes: birth, life, and death. It will take place in Gedung PGN, Jln. Braga no. 40, Bandung from 21st until 23rd of February. And tomorrow, there will be an illustration and comic workshop "
Talking Visually" with Ario Anindito, an Indonesian illustrator that has worked with DC Comics, and Is Yuniarto, an Indonesian comic artist and is well-known for his comic Garudayana.
I'm part of the division of publication and in charge of posting info and such in twitter. It would be interesting if I do live tweet from the workshop but I'm not going. Screw it. The division head just asked me to come for tweeting live tomorrow. Kinda reluctant but at least I can attend the workshop for free. Still... /cries
I'm really tired and my body has been sore lately. Aaaah I wanna go to some spa&massage house so bad ;;
I shall go shower soon and have a proper rest before I throw myself to sea of home works tomorrow.
Leaving my video meme here and have a nice weekend everyone! :)
