I am obviously not entirely disappear from the internet world. I’m still complaining here and there on Twitter and posting my drawings on my Tumblog and dA.

The thing I’ve been doing almost non-stop because school works.
And that’s the only thing I’ll talk about in this post, I guess? Well, not really. I have other things I wanna say but just not much. Since nothing else really happened to me aside from the stress over the mid-term tests.
Btw, they are the first tests everyone gets to do at home. Take-home tests, as we call them. It’s more like the usual homeworks, actually. But I don’t know why they weight heavier even though they aren’t as demanding as the usual assignments.
Maybe it’s the deadline? Well, maybe it is.
For God’s sake, we had to submit five submissions for the tests of three subjects in one same day!
Two for Typography, two for Illustration, and actually more than one for Photography.
TYPOGRAPHY: posters for the campaign “Stop Fighting Among Students!”. No illustration. Everything in it has to be pure typography. Seniors from 2010 and 2009 got to do it for the test, too.
PHOTOGRAPHY: two photos for each small aperture and big aperture plus one with panning tehnique.
ILLUSTRATION: two illustrations for campus’s postcard as souvenir. Won’t be used as real souvenir, tho. And below is one of my submissions wheee~

BASIC DKV: One word. Bus.
Done working on it at 2 AM this morning and printed it a few hours ago ;w;
We had to create an outdoor graphic for a bus with “Bandung city” as the theme. I chose Bosscha obervatory because fuck yeah astronomy! <3 But I failed at tracing the observatory building ugh orz. If you can see the mountains behind, that is Mt. Manglayang, the mountains which surrounds the city.
I kinda want to curse the printing agent tho. The color in the printed result is darker than it should've been. It is as if the mountains color-merged with the sky. It looked like the mountains were nowhere to be found /cries
HISTORY of DESIGN: gotta say the professor is officially epic. For the test, we were told to make a short story, a poem, a comic, or an illustration-anything about modernism and post-modernism. Essay was not recommended. And it shouldn’t be more than one page of A4 paper WHICH MEANT I HAD TO MERCILESSLY CUT DOWN MY SHORT STORY BECAUSE IT WAS ORIGINALLY TWO-THREE PAGES LONG.
Wow, sir. When other professors demand for ten pages long essay :))))
The rest of the tests were written like usual.
♛ It was on October 12th, I guess, when the whole class plus the seniors and the professors went to Jakarta.
Yes, we went there again :) That time, we visited Indonesia Printing (biggest printing company in Indonesia), Trans TV studio, and Modus Vivendi (an exhibition by seniors from DKV 2008). We departed to Jakarta at 6 AM and went back straight back to Bandung at 9 PM and reached the campus ground at 12 AM.
While the next day , we all had to get ready for the department orientation and inauguration at Lembang for two days one night. Very tired because of the lack of sleep but overall it was fun. Thank God, there’s no such thing as two-hours scolding session-I’ve had enough of that during my first year. Plus, we got to stay in a nice villa together! :D
And the dinner was nice! Aaaah long time no eat sayur asem ;u;
♛ Octobers. Month of hedonism. I don’t even wanna know the sum of the money I’ve spent. Most of my allowance goes to printing, Sakura Koi watercolor set (yay!), new drawing tablet (yay!), and Cody Simpson’s new album (yay!).

♛ I know 2NE1 will have their concert in Indonesia next November. I know. Just shut up. I have no money for whoever’s concert, okay? And SLR camera and new laptop are on my top must-buy list /mourns
♛ Getting more Hetalia-ed day by day. My most favs are Spain and Russia, btw. Second goes to England, Japan, Norway, Iceland, Italy, South Korea, China, and Hongkong. OTP is Prussia/Hungary.
♛ Hey! Say! JUMP is... well dunno. I only think about pogi Yuto and mochi-cheek Daiki-chan. And the fact that I still can’t get over Yamada’s low ponytail sobs. Someone make a fic about his low ponytail for me? A short short drabble will do ;///w///;
♛ I once said in twitter that Chinen had outdone everyone in the group with his role in Sprout. Well sorry Chinen, but Yuma has outdone everyone in NYC with his role in Piece, which automatically means he also has outdone everyone in JUMP. WOOOHOOOO GO GO GO YUMA!
But I think I’ll forward more to Hokuto’s role ehehe Origuchi-senpai ehehe.

Talking about the voice, it really depends on the situation. I honestly love Yamada’s voice in Asia no Yoru and Hitomi no Screen. But I really dislike it when he takes half portion of the latest Boku wa Vampire perf in Shounen Club and the part in Beat Line where he sings the line “genkai wo jumping”. When he sings those, the voice he uses is the soft-and-attempting-to-lure-but-doesn’t-really-work kind so it ruins the mood of the songs. Well, that’s what I think. I don’t know about you.
Same goes to Yabu. I love his voice when he sings My Everything. I just find his voice off at some random moments.
Let’s just go with Takaki. Fierce or soft, I enjoy his voice the most. I wish his Kumo no Ito with Chinen has its studio version *_*
