ITB has JB. Pretty phenomenal here

Yes, there’s a kendo club in my university! You can’t find this kind of club very often in Indonesia, so I can’t let this chance slide! :DDD

♕ The first week was for PROKM (orientation(?) for new students). I followed the first day activitiy, but then I collapsed at 6 PM because of fatigue and didn’t join the others from my PROKM team until 9 PM. Heck, I had fever the next day until Thursday, so for three days I just lay on my bed! And Thursday was the last day of PROKM. No fun. I felt worse when I got a message from my PROKM teammate: “Thanks for today! It was really fun and  bla bla bla I hope we can do it again.” *cries in envy*

♕ The Friday in the first week was for OHU. OHU is like, the seniors introduced all the club activities (or units) they have in the campus. If I’m not wrong, the total number of the units is around 80! That’s so many! I toured all the unit stands with my friend Fidi.  At first I wanted to join japanese culture unit, chess unit, or archery unit. But I can’t find the stand for chess unit; the stand for archery unit was really crowded so it was troublesome to go through the crowd for filling the register form; and japanese culture unit was scratched from the list because I think what I need the most was a sport-based unit. I’m VERY lacking in excercise! That’s not good! Eventually, when we visited the kendo unit stand and tried to do some simple kendo movements using the shinai (kendo’s bamboo sword) with the senior’s guide, we felt really excited and without thinking twice, we immediately filled the register form. Too bad, Fidi only followed two sessions in the first week. She can’t come home late. There’s rarely public transportation heading to her home after 8 PM.

♕ Up to now, there are already four sessions for kendo activity. I had learned the right way to hold the shinai (though the newcomers can’t use the shinai right away simply because we haven’t had it, except if we borrow one from the senior. We use light wooden sticks as the substitute), two ways of walking in kendo, and four ways to hit the oppononet’s head with the shinai. I really had a hard time with the walking and the way I sway my shinai from above my head. The main problem: my shoulders-no. My body is stiff. Just hope I’ll get better in the next session. *sulks in the corner*

♕For two semesters, around 237 new students of FSRD will study together in one big room for art-and-design-related subject (daaamn, the room is on the third floor...! *is lazy*). Actually we are separated into four classes, but we are not really separated because the classes are just two meters apart from each others with air as the partition.

♕ A homework right away from the first day. Monday is for basic art: 2 dimensions. Because the first Monday was used for cleaning up the room and covering the tables with papers and plastics, the lecturer gave us a homework. It was a basic task: draw nine levels of gradation from white to black using pencil. That’s still okay for me. But in the second Monday, we draw the gradation again, only using black and white poster colors. Nooooo, I’m bad at painting! Moreover, when was the last time I did painting? Nine years ago? Worse, I forgot to bring my poster colors, my brushes, and my palette. So I borrow my seatmate’s painting equipments, though his face didn’t look pleased with it. Or maybe it was just me? Still, I’m very sorry! You can use my poster colors next time!

♕ I have no grudge for the subjects in Tuesday and Wednesday because they don’t give us homework. Yet. By the way, Tuesday is for drawing: shape. Wednesday is drawing: constructive. * I never get it why my most unfavorable subject is always in Thursday. This time it is basic art: 3 dimensions. For two weeks, all we did is making some 3D shapes from straws. No glue allowed. Yeah, so we need to use use straws to lock one straw to other. Hey, I could make an apple! Although without the leaf, people said it was pumpkin. Damn y’all!

♕ We will have our ied holiday for less than two weeks. And I thought I would be free from the all the crazy tasks, but actually nooooo! The lecturers give us two homeworks and we have to complete them when the holiday ends. AAAAAAARGH! First holiday and  ‘special bonuses’ already...?! I think I’m starting to hate the basic art subjects. We have to make a 40x40 cm black and white pixel art and make twenty identical 3D shapes with the straws. This time the straw task sounds simpler. Me not like painting, urgh. And for these homeworks I have to spend my money for the equipments... AGAIN. It hurts my eyes and my heart to see the amount of money left inside my wallet.

♕ Because I told my bestfriend Mila that there are many cute diary books in Bandung, I had promised to buy one for her and will hand it to her when I go back to Tangerang for ied holiday. But... the remaining money is for the extra equipment for the damned homework. I’m sorry, Mila. I’ll buy one for you after the holiday and hand it to you maybe at the year-end holiday! >.<;;;

♕ And then my mom texted me that my family want to spend the holiday in Bandung. First, my campus is in Bandung. Second, we had spent our holidays in Bandung for... how many times? I don’t even want to count. I’m bored and kinda sick of Bandung right now. I loathe the traffic jam.

Enough talking about my one-month-old university life. Did I sound like I hate it so much? Honestly, I’m enjoying it right now. One of the best thing is all the boys and the girls from FSRD 2011 are really friendly so I feel at ease to open up to others, unlike in jr. high school and sr. high school. And I’m glad there’s a girl who is also a fan of Hey! Say! JUMP. I thought I would be the only one in FSRD who fangirl over HSJ. I’m relieved. She also has the video of Hey! Say! JUMP’s 2008-2009 tour concert! I finally can watch it, yay! Sankyu, Dida! :DDDD

Btw, she knows I’m a fan of HSJ when she saw me drawing a fanart of Yamada dn Daiki in Ai-ing costume (yeah, I drew like a LOT of fanart in last two weeks. Mostly HSJ fanarts, sketch-style. But there’s still no scanner, so I can’t share it in the net yet D:). Her niban is Yamada, just like mine, while her ichiban is Daiki.

Talking about things beside the real life...

♕ I’m officially a Blackjack (2NE1’s fans)! I know 2NE1 since their debut day, but only recently I finally realize that they are really awesome. Can’t Nobody and I Am The Best are my most favorite songs. And my most favorite member is Park Bom-unnie. To me, she’s the most beautiful girl in Kpop world. CL-unnie is next. I really like her in Can’t Nobody MV. So cool! Their Mnet MAMA stage is just iuhbdeaydf8ady8wy LIKE IT! *flails*

♕ Matsushita Yuya’s SUPER DRIVE is out! The song is... *_____________________* his greatest dance number so far. The dance is... let’s just say I don’t like it when men do hip dance with hand on the crotch. But the PV is okay. How is it not when Yuya in it is this HOT?!

:Q________________________________________________________________

Lol sorry for the drool.

♕ August means the start of Hey! Say! JUMP’s SUMMARY 2011!!! Yaaaaaaay!!! The concept of this year’s SUMMARY is not really different with last year’s. There are circus performance with cute puppies, taiko performance (I’m looking forward to this the most because their outfit in this sessions is very cool, manly, yet give a sexy feeling. Well, that’s what I saw from SUMMARY 2011 CM), swords battle of two teams (last year it was 7 vs. BEST, but I heard this year each team has 7 and BEST members), Yamada and Daiki’s tightrope walking, and Chinen and Takaki’s trapeze performance (I’m sure Chinen can do it smoothly because he had done it last year. But TAKAKI and TRAPEZE? I’ve never imagined about it. But it’s a MUST see, too! Yay for TakaChii!). Sadly, no Ryuutaro... *sobs*

My new portable hard disk-I used it only 3-4 times, and then it suddenly won’t connect to computers anymore. I PUT  MY 25 GB WORTH KPOP VIDEOS IN IT, DAMMIT!!! My lil bro said the seller gives one year warranty for the hard disk. He better fix it or else =___=

Oh, I nearly forgot! Though I just want to brag about something. I’m sorry because I put your photo here without your permission, but...

No, people, that’s not Justin Bieber. JB doesn’t go abroad to Indonesia for studying in ITB and wear ITB’s jacket, silly.

But their face and their hairstyle look really alike, no? Well, the visible differences between JB and this person are just their height and their GENDER.

Yes, people, this JB look-alike is a GIRL (from here, I will refer her as ITB!JB until I know her real name. I feel rude already by keep calling her JB when she’s actually not). But if you know about a female singer named Danny Shay, then that’s not a surprising fact.

About her height, she’s shorter than me. Maybe around 155 cm? I know it because she stood beside me for a while when we had Independence Day ceremony last Wednesday before she moved to the front row. I was holding back my laugh when the boys started teasing her by singing Baby when she walked past them to my side and when the girl behind me literally yelping in excitement when she saw her stood beside me. LOL am I one lucky fan?

Addition: My friend’s blog. It’s in Indonesian, but basically he said he secretly took a picture of ITB!JB when they sat beside each other in the public transportation. He put the photo in the post. G’job, Mr. Mackenzie! lol Check his blog for more ITB!JB papapics *shot*
