1 week left.
Since about a month or two ago, there was always this gnat or fruit fly that would zoom around my head and computer. It always bothered me, but instead of killing it, I would capture it, take it outside of my cublice, and release it somewhere else in the building(far, far away from my office). However, it would always find its way back.
Last week I killed it.
Another fruit fly replaced it within a day. I now realize that there were probably tens upons tens of gnats around the office (and they multiplied). I killed three in one day earlier this week, and there was always one to take the previous one's place.
My friend brought his daughter into work one day, and they stopped by my desk to say hello. He was holding her daughter, and she said, "Daddy, there's a bug on you."
Damn fruit fly.
Anyways, I killed them whenever I saw them this week, and even though today was my last day, there was still one zipping around my cube. I think they realized I was killing them, so they got their big momma to help them out. A HUGE bug buzzed past my head earlier today, and I fell out of my chair. The bastard came back three more times before it finally left.
So I'm done with work. One more week until I return. I really cannot wait. This year will be great (that'd suck if I died...or if someone else did).
