livejournal tells me it has been 46 weeks since i last updated. i remember when i used to write like every day. i'm back in ohio for the summer, learning how to talk fast, drive slow, and exhibit core midwestern values.
i'm interning at limited brands again. it's not so bad this time; my main job is video editing, so it's kinda cool getting paid to work with adobe premiere...hopefully learn some useful stuff so i can use it to make my own movies during the school year. right now i'm working on editing about 8 hours of footage from this two day seminar i filmed - i have to cut it down to 20-30 minutes.
i've learned some html at work so i can do this kind of crap now.
lately i've been thinking that a lot of people live their lives through the internet. i know people have been doing this for a while, but i've only recently thought of it as a new reality. movies, tv shows, music, and even conversations and interaction with other people! it's like the early form of some virtual reality. i spend most of my work day on the computer (my eyeballs hurt).
i watched Before Sunset last night, which is the sequel to Before Sunrise. richard linklater made both of those movies (along with A Scanner Darkly, A Waking Life, and School of Rock). it's a pleasantly sad movie.
