(no subject)
ok id like to talk about my day before i go to sleep so i don't forget about the details.
I wake up this morning and i walk downstairs and my brother asks me to take Brandon home. So i agree.. Then brent leaves and comes right back in the door and goes "Erin, do you know that your car has been hit?!" That is a horrible question to be asked by the way. so i run out and sure enough a dent and scrapes are over my right back tires. hit and run fo sho. pisses me off so bad. So thats about a whole month of working at Petsmart down the drain. speaking of petsmart...
I worked tonight. We were slammed cuz its a saturday and all. well this funny thing happens. a mercury thermometer breaks in the feeder fish system. yes poisonous mercury. so me and alisa freak out and start to drain the tanks, WITH the fish in them. but we are both immune to 'fish feelings' so we say 'they're gunna die from mercury poisoning anyway..they might as well suffocate first'. well we drain the tanks half way and we find out that the thermometer isn't even made of mercury. so were like crap. so we decide to start filling them again. at about 7 we started filling them. at 9 (when we close) the water level isn't any higher. so were like crap again. so i get the greatest idea to just start filling up buckets and pouring the water in. Well i do this process for about 2 hours and notice that the tank water level isn't getting any higher....at all. so i get bored and alisa comes in the back and i take the water sprayer and just spray the crap outta her. yes she was soaking wet. so then this triggers a WATER FIGHT!!! Oh man was it fun!! we were soaking wet from head to toe. we went out into the store and just slid around on the floor.We took polariod pictures in front of the tanks. but after we got all teh floors nasty and wet, we had to mop them up. so we both got the mops and the bucket and started to mop. then we started to smell something nasty. we look in the bucket of water we were using and theres dog shit in it. yes, dog s-h-i-t. so we were mopping the floors with shit water. pretty gross.
So i worked from 3pm-12:30am today... about 7 bucks and hour soooo about $65. so not worth it. im quitting
but in conclusion... our manager didn't turn the water gauge to keep the water in the system. so every bucket of water i poured was just going down the drain. DAMN I LOVE MY JOB
