they're based on the craziest ideas. Take these cover bands for instance, which actually exist, by the way:

And my favorite:
Story goes, this German DJ became sick of the European electronic scene and moved his base of operations to Chile to learn how to play Latin music. A few years later he released this album, which is an album of Kraftwerk covers done with a Latin/Lounge twist, with hilarious results.
And I don't know if this is true, but apparently there is or used to be a G.G. Allin cover band comprised solely of 16-year old girls. I'd love to see that. If anybody has ANY information on that, GIVE IT TO ME NOW.
