Lillian M. (Boilard) Lapine, 87
MARLBOROUGH, Mass - Lillian M. (Boilard) Lapine, 87, of Marlborough died Tuesday February 19, 2008 in Beth Israel Hospital, Boston. Lillian was born in Ludlow on November 20, 1920, a daughter of the late Adelard and Lillian C. (Daigle) Boilard. She was raised in Indian Orchard and graduated from the former Classical High School and was a communicant of St. Jude Church. Lillian and her husband Edmond resided in Hancock, NH for 22 years and in Marlborough since 2003 where she spent much of her time devoted to church activities. Besides her parents, Lillian was predeceased by her three brothers, Edward A. Boilard, William G. Boilard, and Conrad J. Boilard. Lillian is survived by her husband of 62 years, Edmond W. Lapine; a daughter, Margaret A. Fickle and her husband Ronald of McKinney, TX; two sons, Robert E. Lapine and his wife Carole of Ogden, UT and Gary W. Lapine and his wife Lynda of West Brookfield, MA; a brother, Robert C. Boilard of Wilbraham; nine grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Visiting hours for Lillian will be held on Friday, February 22, 2008, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Sampson's Chapel of the Acres Funeral Home, 21 Tinkham Road, Springfield. Her funeral will be held on Saturday morning February 23, 2008, at 8 a.m. at the funeral home followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Jude Church, Main Street, Indian Orchard. Rites of Committal and burial will be held in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Berkshire Avenue, Indian Orchard. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
