i was slated to head home two nights ago, then it was this morning, now its tomorrow morning. I have been meandering aimlessly around Roissy-Charles de Gaulle for over 15 hours, with three more to go. Evading the clochards who sleep in the airport is painful, especially when all they want is a meager couple of centimes to buy an overpriced Baguette Savoreaux. I had to anal-retentively pack and re-pack the 5 records I bought at Crocodisc as to assure their in-flight safety, and almost got Can's Tago Mago swiped in the process.
This abundance of time has afforded me the luxury to work on some music compositions on my computer. I composed an old school beatbox rhythm and looped some capoeira call-and-response over the beat, so whoever hears it can do capoeira and breakdancing at the same time. I will call it "Rapoeira," or "Rap Away, Yeah!"
One thing, if anything, that I learned from the French, aside how to make bad driving look good, or intellectually justifying being an asshole to your neighbor (Existentialism), is that ennui is the worst of life's ailments. If I had cancer, at least I would have some thing to talk about.
