AUSTIN, Texas - Merck & Co. is helping bankroll efforts to pass state laws requiring girls as young as 11 or 12 to receive the drugmaker's new vaccine against the sexually transmitted cervical-cancer virus.
Some conservatives and parents'-rights groups say such a requirement would encourage premarital sex and interfere with the way they raise their children, and they say Merck's push for such laws is underhanded.
Ughghuhguhguhughughuggasadasdfsfads.
I'm pulling my hair out at the moment.
I hate conservatives.
And I hate how they fight things that they know nothing about. If I fucked a guy that was carrying a cancer causing strand of HPV (because not all strains of the virus cause cancer, some cause warts) even if he wore a condom, I could still catch it from our skin down there touching. Oh! And there are currently no tests that can find HPV in men. It doesn't show up in men. It doesn't give them cancer. I hate.... everything.
