I had so much to update, but now that I am getting around to it, I cant remember everything...
Last Friday was not a good day to be driving. While I was at work, a car flipped right outside of our office. I guess some lady cut him off and he swerved to miss her, hit the curb and flipped. Some people got out and drug the guy out of his car immediately. Liz, my coworker, called 911 and then I ran down there to see if I could help the guy out at all, since I have a medical background. He didnt have a scratch on him, but I made sure he kept his neck still until the ambulance came, in case he had a hidden neck injury. After a couple of hours, they got that wreck cleared out of the way. Right after they got that wreck out of the way, there was a hit and run in our parking lot. The girl that backed into another guy took off in her car, even though people were chasing after her. I felt so bad for the poor guy who's car was hit. After these two accidents I was very scared to drive, but Chris and I were heading down to Stuart to see my parents, so I had to drive. After driving for about 45 minutes to an hour, a car in front of us on I95 started swerving back and forth in both lanes really bad. As soon as we thought they were going to catch it and straighten their car out, they went off the side of the highway and flipped. Chris and I pulled over and I called 911 (a first for me). We ran across 95 to make sure the people in the car were ok. They had gotten themselves out of the car, but were covered in mud and very shaken up. The woman looked like she had broken her arm and was bleeding a bit from her wrist area. The ambulance got there, but they refused medical treatment and we had to wait around for the cops to get there so we could give a statement. After that, we were on the road again. I was sooooo terrified to drive the rest of the way home, but we made it ok. I mean, what is the chance of seeing two cars flip in one day???
Stuart was nice, we hung out with my parents, went shopping, drank and ate lots of good food.
Tomorrow Chris and I are going to see HIM and I am really looking forward to it. I am not looking forward to all the 12 year old Hot Topic goth kids that are going to be there though. And I am also not looking forward to missing Depeche Mode.
Chris is leaving for Atlanta on Friday, so I think I am going to hang out with Liz on Saturday night and drink. After I go and straighten shit out with the apartment complex that we are moving into. That should be fun!
Work is going amazing. I got a promotion and I couldnt be happier. I love my job and the people that I work with.
