A date with Cults, Cake and Caribou
Arcade Fire was by far THE highlight of lollapalooza. When you have 13 people singing and yelling at you to "Wake up" with demonic expression and cultish fervor, the chills going down your spine ignite and spread all over your body. "AHHHHHHH AHHHHHHH AH AH AH AH AHHHHH AHHHHH" They're performance was trailed by the Pixies, Cake, Spoon and Weezer. If you like the Cure and Disco you'll enjoy VHS or Beta. Check it out. Tiny Asian men who sound exactly like Robert Smith are funny.
On a lighter note: I dreamt last night that I was being trampled by a caribou. Caribou are big...so it scared the hell out of me.
