I don't know what has been going on with me lately, but i swear just hearing David Ruffin sing "I know you wanna leave me but i refuse to let you go" just calms me down, and makes me fell so much better.
I guess hearing that old Motown sound again and that vibe it puts out of good times. It just makes me remember why i wanted to make music in the first place. Why that first time Evan and I jammed, i could feel that same vibe cover the room like snow.
Just hearing that guitar intro to my girl just reminds me of all the love i've had in my life, and why i fell so in love with Nikki. I was crazy to ever thing anything was wrong with it. "I've even got the mouth of may,... with my girl".
I think i want to start a 5 person Motown cover band, and do it with a drummer, acoustic guitar, piano player, and 2 other singers, yeah i'm gonna try and do that. I know its crazy that a few songs can change my mood so greatly, but hey thats me.
