I'm pretty happy with my life right now.
I'm almost done with my classes at Wayne so I can take the social studies certification test this summer. If that doesn't lead to a job for fall 2010 I'm okay with that, as long as I can get steady subbing jobs or even long term jobs.
I'm subbing more now that my classes are finishing up and making some good contacts. I was finally made a lead cashier at PetSmart so I got a good raise (almost a dollar more), and I'll be getting another raise in September when my 7 year anniversary comes around. Yes, this fall I will have been working at PetSmart for 7 years.
Protege is doing great. She's fat and sassy and is loving being the old crabby lady. She loves doing her Pony Pal lessons and getting spoiled by the small children who love the "big white horse." I have another great horse to ride, Taz, and I'm really excited to horse show this summer. I've also made some great friends and am really comfortable where I'm at in that department.
And then there's the boy. :D:D I only wish we lived closer.
I wish I was able to work more or that my bills didn't cost so much, but otherwise I'm really happy with where my life is at right now. And that's a good thing.
