Battle of The Bands:
REMEMBER ARLINGTON ,
MINUTES 'TIL YESTERDAY, ROBYN'S GUN ,
TWELVE IS ROMANIAN, PEACE POLICE, ENDER ,
ELIAS, KALUSTEYEZ, LAYDEN, DOUBLE B ,
THE MOST UNHOLY ALLIANCE,
and DELUSIONS OF GRANDEUR -
Doors open 6:00 p.m. • Tickets can be purchased in advance at El Vegas in Scottsdale Mall for only $4, or $6 at the cafe door
BATTLE RULES
Bands can only play two songs, and the combined time playing those two songs may not exceed 15 minutes.
HOW WILL THE WINNER BE PICKED?
There will be two money prizes awarded.
The first money prizes will be awarded by a board of judges. The judges will be grading the bands on various things like stage performance, lyrical content, musicianship, vocals, and crowd enthusiasm. The winner picked by the judges will be awarded $300.00.
The second money prizes will be awarded by crowd voting. Every person paying to enter the Underground Café will be given one free vote coupon to vote on any band he/she wishes. After that, they may pay $1 each time they wish to vote again. Each vote coupon or dollar placed towards a band counts as one vote. The votes will be counted, and the band with the most votes will be awarded $200.00.
IT IS POSSIBLE FOR ONE BAND TO WIN BOTH MONEY PRIZES!
