Sam's party was yesterday!! It was soo much fun! The slideshow was so cute and all that fun stuff. Then we came back to Sam's and had a blast and a half, haha. She's freaking riiiichhhh ;-D And then that kid finally asked her out, haha. We watched lots of movies [orrr... me and Aimée watched West Side Story and half of the Labrynth lol] A good time was had by all [I hope]
So, guard... We did pretty shitty - you could feel it during the show, too. Things just weren't clicking... We could've done so much better, and it really sucks because Mr Pry came to that one. He finally got to see us and knows that we're not a joke. Well... I don't know. It wasn't that bad - it was novice, it was average, it just wasn't us. For all intents and purposes, we're not a joke XP Someone said Cooper was there, too. I honestly couldn't even see, because the bleachers were so far back. I could barely see the judges. I fucking hated Owen J's gym. We ended up getting a 79.9 - and you don't know how much that devastated me. I honestly didn't think I went over the line, but I guess I did... Gah, I can't even believe it. Something as stupid and preventable as that kept us from breaking 80. Everyone's all like 'blah, don't be mad there was other stuff too' but there's always other stuff - we're us, there's always someone that shouldn't have gone out or someone that drops everything that day ... but this was .1 points, and it was a freaking toe over the line. If I had been a step farther we would've broken 80. Yes, if the other people had sat out or worked harder at practice we could've gotten a hell of a lot higher - but this was me, lol, and it was A TENTH OF A POINT that would've given us an 80.
I'm just complaining - it's not like I dropped or really screwed something up. It's not lack of work, lack of whatever, it was just a stupid mistake. I understand that it's over and isn't likely to ever happen again, but it still really really really etc sucks.
Next week is Upper Darby. That school/gym has been very good to us in the past, so hopefully everyone works their asses off this week so it can be again ;-D A guy from Norristown is coming to practice on Tuesday and that'll probably help us a lot... I just hope we don't embarrass ourselves with our practice ethic [or lack-there-of XP] Everyone better be at the Upper Darby show!! If you're not, I might hurt you.
