A huge thank you to absolutelybatty who introduced me to Rome! I had initially planned to watch just the Pilot last night, but totally ended up watching three straight episodes. *__* Rome is awesome and dangerously addictive. I think I find it even more addictive than, dare I say it, Game of Thrones. And that's saying a lot, 'cause I love my Game of Thrones.

SHE RANDOMLY LAID ON TOP OF HIM. AND THEN HE WAS HER PERSON. AND THEN THEY WERE AWESOME. AND THEN SHE DECIDED TO RAIN ON HIS PARADE AND LEAVE. HOW DO WE EVEN HAVE ANOTHER SEASON? ARE THEY ALL GOING TO CHANGE THEIR MINDS BECAUSE OF THE PLANE? WHAT. HOW. FEELINGS. OWEN AND HIS FACE.
...and that sums up most of my feelings. Except go Alex because, damn, boy lucked out with finishing first there.
ALSO THIS EPISODE BASICALLY KILLED ALL MY SHIPS. WEIRD CRIS AND MER SCENES MAKE ME SAD. NO OWEN/CRIS MAKE UPS (NOT REALLY) MAKE ME EXTRA SAD. CRYING EVERYWHERE.
Okay now those are all my feelings.
Yeah, the bromance was really the only safe ship in that show, to be honest. Everyone else? Doomed to die or be broken up in someway. But mostly die. You had to enjoy them while they lasted because, at the very least, the show did well with developing these ships and giving you something to love in the first place. Not every show is willing to give its viewers that so it was great to see everything play out in a way that gave everyone their chance even if it was doomed from the start!
BRUTUS/CASSIUS, OH MY GOD. Have you read Shakespeare's Julius Caesar? THEY ARE THE SHIP TO END ALL SHIPS. I CANNOT EVEN.

In hindsight, I'm thinking I misinterpreted the scene where Cristina told Mer that Owen was her person. What if that scene was meant to show Cris coming to realize that Owen (despite being her person) subconsciously wanted to hurt her back and betrayed her by cheating on her? What if she realized that she couldn't stay with Owen because your person shouldn't want to hurt you at all, under any circumstances. Is this a possibility? Or am I just being pessimistic here? I JUST DON'T GET IT AND MY HEAD HURTS BECAUSE OF THAT.
I read online that Cris slept with Owen only because she wanted to smash his hopes by telling him afterwards that she was leaving. I don't buy that at all though. CRISTINA WOULD NEVER.
I loved the scene where Cris posed as April on the phone! I felt bad for April at first, but Cristina totally redeemed herself when she stood up for April in the end. :DDD
YES, I AGREE. SO HAPPY THAT ALEX IS FINALLY RECOGNIZED FOR BEING THE AWESOME DOCTOR THAT HE IS. THE MER/ALEX/CRIS SCENE WAS HILARIOUS AND CRIS GIVING ALEX A HUG MADE ME MISS THE GOOD OLD DAYS. ♥
