OOC - You either die writing an info post or you live to see people become confused about your canon

Okay, this is Harvey Dent of The Dark Knight fame. Harvey is a teenager so he hasn’t gone through the canon. Not yet, anyway.

In the movie, Harvey Dent is the youngest District Attorney Gotham City has ever had. He is known as Gotham’s white knight (hence the username) and is their sole hope for the future. This all goes to hell after an explosion and a visit from a clown wearing a nurse’s uniform. None of that matters right now because Harvey is pre-series, meaning right now he’s just a teenage boy from Gotham City.

Harvey is a good person of Meg-like proportions (just not as cheerful). That’s probably the most important thing you need to know. Even when he snapped after his disfigurement, the only people he hurt where those who he had thought done him wrong. He truly is a white knight and will not tolerate wrong-doing. He isn’t swayed by bribery and thinks those that are deserved to be punished; even if they were desperate at the time. Harvey only sees things in black and white, a nod towards his latent psychopathic obsession with duality. He doesn’t question the luck of the draw. After he goes bonkers he relies on a disfigured two-headed coin to make his decisions and he never questions the outcome. He doesn’t really have a gray area.

As a teenager, Harvey will still be a do-gooder but his hard lawyering skills won’t be totally ingrained yet. He’ll be a friendly, sort of frat boy-esque guy who wants to have a good time as long as that good time doesn’t hurt anybody. Harvey is also very smart and is extremely good at planning large projects. He has the ability to smooth-talk and uses his looks and charm to get people to do what he wants.

It should be noted that he has a two-headed coin that his father gave him. He’ll use it to have fun with people and he’ll purposely skew the answers so it looks like he’s lucky. It’s all in good fun and wouldn’t do it to hurt anybody and he’d never force anybody to obey it...while he’s in Fandom anyway. After he’s crazy then, yeah, you best obey the coin.

So in conclusion, Harvey’s a nice guy, has a two-headed coin and has a pretty face. For now. I just ask that any DC characters (all two of you. Why doesn’t DC get any love?) who know about the Harvey/Two-Face connection don’t tell him. That would ruin all of the Joker’s fun and that wouldn't be very nice.
