Yesterday was a whirlwind. Sprout jumped off the balcony and was missing from 12pm until 11pm. I was going nuts all day and it messed with my job hunting and other things. I finally got him back, and that's all that matters.
I got hired at Border's working at the Bush Intercontinental Airport. It's part time, and I don't start until next week, but that's fine for now. I'm hoping to have Memorial Day off actually because Brendan and I may go on a mini trip.
I'm going to get my TABC certification this week so that I can start working at Minute Maid Park part time during events. Hopefully I'll start there the first week in June and I'll be there for the Astros v. Yankees. There's a lot of shows I want to see this summer, and I need the extra funds. I still have to pay off my school balance so I can get my transcripts transfered down here.
Good news about school, all the classes down here at HCC are 4 credit hours. That means 2 semesters of 5 classes will put me in line to graduate! I can take 1 or 2 classes during a Maymester session next summer and then I'll have 12-15 credit hours left to complete at SU. That means one semester back in Syracuse from August-December! AND THEN I'M DONE!
I'll still need to figure out about pursuing my Biology degree, but I'll at least have one degree and I can try getting a decent job somewhere and maybe doing school part time or something. Either way, I feel like my life will finally be starting and that's a really good feeling.
Anyways, Marc bought his plane ticket yesterday so he'll be here at the end of July! That's pretty exciting!
