"Dear Applicant to the Barbados Field Study Semester (BFSS) Program.
As one of the students who were on the waiting list for BFSS 09 admission, I am pleased to inform you that we can now offer you acceptance into the Program.
Please confirm whether or not you will accept your spot in the Program as soon as possible but no later than April 7, 2009.
There will be a mandatory information meeting for all BFSS 09 students on April 8 at 4.30PM in the Macdonald Engineering Building, Room 497 on the Montreal campus; please confirm your attendance.
The Semester will run at the McGill Bellairs Research Institute, Holetown, Barbados tentatively, from August 31 to December 9, 2009. Arrival at Bellairs will be August 29-30 and departure from Bellairs will be December 10-12."

And of course, McGill has accepted my exchange to.... University of Swineburne... in MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA.
So basically, next year will consist of
Fall '09 in BARBADOS.
Winter '10 in AUSTRALIA. (if all goes well and U of Swineburne accepts my application and I keep my GPA above 3.0...easy peasy.)
Bye bye winter blues. :)
