Too bad we have no vehicles to sell...
We haven't been this broke since last October.
In order to pay all of our bills, and get to Jacksonville for Thanksgiving and our wedding, we had to sell Jerry's first love (that he didn't have time for anymore) The chevelle and the firebird. I called the Chevelle the "other woman." Lol. We were in debt soooo bad then! We sold the chevelle for $5700 and the firebird for $3500. And almost all of it went towards bills, baby stuff for David, and our Florida trip (airfare and hotel). That alone was $2800.
So, I called everyone we owe money today. Here it is as follows:
PG&E (our gas & electric service). Of course we have to live in the state that the energy bill rapes you the most.
We owe them $446.13. We agreed to pay $235.36 by Jan 2nd, and $210.77 by 1/17. If we do that, it won't get shut off.
CITY OF COLUSA (that is our water, sewer, & garbage bill).
This is normally only $90-100. But add a few small dumpster rentals to it and you have a $233 bill. When we bought the house, we inherited a lot of junk from the previous owners. We will be okay paying $120 for now then pay the rest in the middle of January. It helps being good friends with the girl that is in charge of the bills there.
DIRECT TV (our tv).
Our TV bill isn't too bad. Normally $65-75, but we rented a few movies on PPV when our friends stayed over one weekend. So it is now $92.82.
FRONTIER (this is our phone and high-speed internet bill).
I hate these cocksuckers. My contract ends in June and you can bet I won't be a returning customer...
We owe $206.72 but only $92.92 is past due.
ALHAMBRA (this is our other water bill).
If you're not from Colusa, the city water is ewww! So, we get 2-4 18 gallon bottles of spring water a month. Normally $20-35 a month, but we forget to pay it occasionally. At the highest it's ever been with them--$85.00.
TRUCK PAYMENT
Oh I loooove this payment. Not really. $329 dollars a month.
Last, but not least...VERIZON WIRELESS.
$376.32. Yup. I am not too worried about that bill. This one can wait. I have my house phone and my work cell phone. I'll get by. My phone is shut off, so those pricks can wait til I get everything else sorted out before we pay them. Oh yeah, they suck because the always want it paid in full.
We still have yet to get Christmas gifts. We will probably tomorrow.
So yeah. We're in a crappy situation. Winter always sucks. The pay isn't anywhere close to what it is during season.
I took an advance in this pay check and will probably get another advance in pay for the 1st check in January. It's the only way we can get groceries, Christmas gifts, & pay everything off.
Not to mention I miss my family. I really want them around more than ever this year. Holidays are always a bummer for me without them. It was hard enough having to say goodbye to my mom when she left in April. I'm such a baby, I cry everytime I talk about it. Well, at least lately, because I always hold it in. Maybe I can have Jerry's dad talk to his friend with Southwest to get my mom a buddy pass for her and my sister. Maybe they can come after Christmas or something.
My Aunt is very sick. She is in and out of the hospital. Two times in 3 weeks. For renal failure, another last week for her defibrillator going off again. Not to mention my dad isn't doing too good. He is on insulin. And a whole bunch of meds and he looks horrible. I want take the kids back home for the summer, but that's if I don't go back for a funeral first....this sucks.
