So I know that at least 2 of the people on my friend's list are having babies and a few are already parents, so I figured you all would be interested in this... and I figured that the rest of you are pretty loud mouthed and opinionated and this may piss you off as much as it does me...
Basically, from what I gather, LJ is planning on shutting down any person's LJ who uses a breastfeeding icon. Lame, yes. But LJ does what LJ does...
Personally, BFing is a personal choice... not everyone does it, but for those who do, many are protected by their state laws... it's perfectly legal to BF in public. Hey, you may see a little tata action, but what is that in the scheme of things? Hell, most of us see more boobie action in a porn than in an LJ icon. I see NO reason that LJ should try to ban users for showing a 100x100 icon of something so beautiful.
So, to my every wonderful FL list, and anyone else who sees this since I'm making it public, PLEASE please go sign this petition... it literally takes 30 seconds and it'll do a world of good. If you're protected from nursing in public by state law, what the FUCK does LJ think they're doing?
