(no subject)
So I defnintely had the best couple of days that I've had in a looooooooong time... Wednesday night was the Reliant K, Simple Plan, Good Charlotte show in Providence at the Dunk. The last time I went to GC's show there, they had the WHOLE arena open, and it was a mad house... this time they did a half house and it was SO much better. Our seats (yes, I sat in the seats) were in section 102, which was immediately in front of the stage. We had an INCREDIBLE view and had SUCH a good time... I spent the down time in between SP and GC making fun of all the teenagers who were screaming about the guitars being tuned 'OMG it's Benji's guitar, I'd know it ANYWHERE!' So I started screeching that and then when they actually came out, I was so excited (because I hadn't seen them since October) that I fell over and landed on a drag queen who was sitting in front of us. Good thing Jay knew them or I might have been embarrassed :-) After the show, we tried stalking the bands so that we could try to meet up with them the next day, but that wasn't so successful. But we did see a Luke, Darth & Leia =)
Then yesterday was our first of many trips to Six Flags. I'd found out that the RK/SP/GC tour was going to be at Six Flags just after we bought the tickets, so we all decided to get season passes and go see them again. The concert AT Six Flags was SO much better than the DDC... I'd forgotten how fun being in the pit is and when you're literally 6 feet away from the stage, it's SO much cooler. The guys in GC also had a lot more energy last night than the night before.
Must've been Star Wars ;)
And now I'm at work. Til 8. Bored. But Ray's taking me out tonight (it's a big surprise... *shrug*) so that'll be fun... then it's another 6 days of work til a long weekend that will include Becky's Taco Party and a potential trip to Vermont.
