If you're wondering why you didn't hear anything from me on THE BEST DAY OF THE YEAR a week ago (or any time between now and THE BEST DAY OF THE YEAR, really), it's because I've been busy.

Busy carrying out an amazing plan! How amazing?

THIS AMAZING:1) Map out a route with stops as far apart as possible without the risk of splinching, as well as ( Read more... )

(emphatically not) turning japanese, don't think too hard about it, ridiculous entry is ridiculous, can't have nice things

[OOC: I know about Korean/Japanese relations, yes I doooo~ No assumptions its happy-shiny here~]

It is unfortunate that you did not arrive at your intended destination... and I pity you, given where you ended up. [Ivan does not have much liking for Japan/Japanese in general, either. Though he is trying to take it on a case by case basis in school, at least.]

...But I could have given advice on a route through Russia. You did not have to apparate into the wilderness.

[ooc: yeahhh. Which is why I got pretty mad at people who were all BLUH BLUH F.U. DUMB KOREA on the controversy that sentenced Hetalia to being a webseries only. GUYS THIS IS A SHOW ABOUT HISTORY HOW ABOUT YOU READ SOME :I]

THANK YOU! People are all, "Oh, you're lucky!" and, no, this is like the second worst place to end up in!!

On one hand, I kind of wanted to avoid places that might have people in case I Apparated in front of a bunch of Muggles, but on the other hand ALL THOSE BEARS.

[ooc: yeeeah... even in fanarts where the two are happyfluffy bffls or more its like... what.]

Well, I suppose that the worst place to end up when traveling is anywhere other than the intended destination, but... yes. I understand.

...It would have not gone well had you apparated in front of a bunch of muggles, no, but... well... rural Russia is not the least superstitious place in the world. They might have believed you were a spirit of sorts~

[ooc: Oh God yeah. This is why I'm easily the most comfortable with Japan-Korea interactions when it's, say, part of one big goofy Asian Sensation group shenanigan. It's such a huge elephant in the room otherwise. Japan-China stuff makes me flail and fret a little for the same reason.]

Yeah, but there's definitely a hierarchy of awful places to end up! And this one's pretty far up there!

I definitely would have been a spirit if I stuck around those bears any longer. But would the rural Russians assume I was an evil spirit? I was kind of screaming a lot the whole time.

[ooc: yeeeah. Asian sensation group derpings are so fun~ ohgodyes. No Japan-China either. ._. I MEAN THEY'RE SO KAWAII FLUFFY WHAT ARE YOU ON?]

Oh, of course. Then again, I never anticipated I would end up in the UK for any extended period of time again, but here I am... I haven't decided how pleased I am about that, safe job or not...

Ah- I think they might have thought you strange... and at worst they would have tried to appease you into leaving. I think.

Did you have a rough time in the UK before, or is this more of a "SO BORING!" conflict?

Oh man, if that's the worst, I definitely would have preferred the villagers!

I... simply seem to have a certain distaste for the British in general, it seems.

Yes! With perhaps an isolated incident or two, that would have been the worst.

I bet part of that's because of the food, right? If you can even call it that.

... "isolated incident"?
