This isn't crit or anything but since I can't really get in contact with you, I hope you don't mind me using your HMD!
This is the Taiwan RPer who is interested in apping into SH but I do have to ask a couple of things. I know there was another Taiwan here who played as though she never knew her adopted family. I'm going to do the same thing too but since Korea is part of the East Asia family, you get a say in this too. So...
1) Do you want Korea and Taiwan to be part of the adopted family or do you want to play them out from separate families? 2) If the former, do you want them to know that they're family? Or do you want to play it out in RP?
I'm really glad you're interested in SH! Korea here didn't really have much in the way of a relationship with Taiwan, so there's a ridiculous amount of wiggle-room for CR if you do app here. :) As this was my first gig roleplaying, and given the highly AU setting, I just felt safer apping Korea as coming from a family entirely separate from the then-Taiwan's. Kind of like testing the RP waters instead of doing a cannonball in the deep end, you know?
But new players = new potentials, so basically... 1) I'm fine with either, honestly. Without looking at her old journal, I believe the former Taiwan's background was that she was a Pureblood raised as a Muggle? That could work in the context of my Korea, as he's about as Muggleborn as they come. Taiwan being an adopted member of Korea's family wouldn't contradict his blood status that way.
I also haven't really discussed Korea's family situation too much; what I have has been minor and mostly for a silly gag shortly after I joined. The closest

Admittedly I am more interested in them being part of the adopted family without them realizing it rather than Taiwan being part of a separate family. Which was why I asked you first before doing anything so...
What I had in mind was similar thing going on with the previous Taiwan. She was adopted into the family, got Shanghai'd somehow, end up in Hogwarts years later, and ta-dah! Mostly because I have a thing for family relationships but I'm strange like that haha...
Anyway, if I have any other ideas, I'll let you know! It's about 1:30 in the morning and I'm kind of brain dead right now x_x
Hmmm, that sounds interesting to me! It'd be fun to play out a reunion of long-lost family members, adopted or not. Do you have an idea of how closely they'd be related?
