I'll lay down, under your pillow
and beneath your head
breathe whispers of sweet dreams
into your ears
while you float, just above your bed
(ill stay so quiet that by morning you still wont know im there)
Send a signal to the maestro
"A Chorus!"
it refrains, and so we dance again
(to your heartbeat that quickens with the pace)
I used to stand against you
when the wind blew
but now it seems, its always warm
You fell so quietly away
And i cuddled up with my own arms
and felt a warmth that i had not before
(this in itself was strange)
and so i kept busy
I took it slowly, buried myself in the fern
im just outside your window screaming
"when will you learn?"
Ill pass through unnoticed, i have a destination
i just hope your there when i arrive
you see thats all
thats keeping me alive
