Marq,

I understand that you're concerned about Ifill moderating the debate since she is putting out a book about Obama and all, but I think the only reason you're concerned is that you aren't looking at all of the positives.  I mean really, this is great news!  For your convenience, I'll list the positives of having a moderator that seemingly supports one of the candidates over the other.

1.  Liberals won't have to turn on MSNBC after the debate to find out what they thought of the debate.

2.  If Joe Biden keeps talking and talking, going much past his allotted time, there won't be any annoying interruptions from the moderator.

3.  We get to find out how Sarah Palin would handle the first days in office if John McCain were killed in a terrorist attack.  Also, we'll get to find out what Joe Biden's favorite color is, and why!

4.  The moderator will be available to remind Joe Biden of Obama's platform during the debate in case he gets confused as for what he stands for.

5.  There will be a nice intermission during the debate to hear what other Average Jo Six Packs think about the debate.  Everyday people that are undecided on who they'll vote for...people like Oprah, Sandra Bernhart, Matt Damon and Michelle Obama.
