Oh, give it, give it, give it, give it, give it, until you just can't give no more.

I'm celebrating Day 7 here in Tuscaloosa, and oh what an adventure it's been!

Jonathan and I came down late Halloween evening and met up with a group of his friends.  I threw together a costume back in Sheffield, thanks to Mom and Meagan; I wore one of her old prom dresses and some heavy black make-up. Spoooooky.  Jonathan was an excellent Jerry Garcia, and we met friends who were Hunter S. Thompson (Andy) and Dr. Gonzo (Mark) and a hippie (Luke) and an Allie... I don't remember her costume.  We got ready at Gribbin house (Jonathan and I) with the help of Genevieve and then went with Graham to his fraternity, where we saw some pretty groovy costumes and met some of his friends and had some delicious punch.  From there we bounced around a few places in the city before finally ending up back at Gribbin to sleep sleep sleep.

i don't think I can get everything else in order right now, so i fear i must result to the ol' bullet list.  Here are things that have made me happy this week, in no particular order.

- cheese fondue (with Scott Atkins and various other players)
- Homegrown Dinner
- walking to Publix
- chair skiing
- moral forum (lead by Lynn)
- chocolate fondue (Emily's here!)
- reading in the hammock
- Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, Humbolt County
- roasted vegetable and kale soup
- Genevieve's baptism
- spaghetti and meatballs
- good smelly soaps
- Music Man!!!

I thought my keys would have turned up by now, but alas, they have not.  That is okay, though.  It's been a fun adventure.  Tomorrow I'm going to help park cars for the football game.  There should be a lot of inner monologue-ing going on.  Get excited  Although he hasn't messaged me about it, I'm hopeful Graham will have a set of keys from home when he gets back here Sunday evening.  If that doesn't happen, I'll have to get one made on Monday.

My plan after that is to go to Birmingham and stay with Jen and hopefully visit some other friends (Lorelle and Ryan and maybe Jess and maybe Thomas?), then head to Auburn and catch up with my crew there.

I am having adventures upon adventures.  It will be nice to be home, though.
