Schedule

After reading Karen's journal, I've decided to post my own schedule.  Woohoo!  Of course, I'm not actually registered, because I... haven't... paid.

Spanish 201: Fundamental of Grammar
I have this class every day at 9:30.  Blegh.  It looks like it's going to be fun, though.  The teacher is nice.  And if I'm going to teach here, it will VERY helpful to know Spanish, even if I just know the basics.

Human Growth and Development
This is MWF right after Spanish... the teacher is CRAZY.  I knew that ahead of time, but I guess it didn't really set in until I got to the class.  Susan (first semester roommate) used to tell me horror stories after every class.  Okay, maybe not horror, but definitely not pleasant.  The teacher says we're supposed to go see a live birth for our first field trip.  I love kids.  I think the miracle of birth is great.  And gross.  Sorry to be insensitive... on paper, the process is wonderful.  And if you know me at all, you know how much I want kids.  But the process is one mess I could avoid watching.  Our last field trip is supposed to be to a morgue.  "If we're lucky, we'll get to be there as they close the oven on a body to cremate it, like last year."  Thanks, teacher.  You're creepy.

Shakespeare
Right after HG&D... this looks to be fun... except I think I will feel dumb often for my lack of knowledge.  I don't remember dates very well, so when he was asking about other famous people from Shakespeare's time, I was at a lost.  Seriously... like those people and dates we've learned in history every year since 4th grade?  I can't tell you anything about them.  It's pathetic.  Anyway, I'm dumb, Shakespeare rocks, that class will kick ass.

Introduction to Psychology
This is my TTH afternoon class, and I think it's going to be a lot of fun... it seems very interesting, and I already really like the teacher.  Problem 1:  Every two tardies count as an absence.  Yikes.  Problem 2:  He's invoking an honor code specialty on the quizzes we have almost every day... as in, if you don't read, don't guess, leave him a note saying you didn't read.  That sucks majorly.  We get three drop grades for those quizzes.  But those are best used on missed days, because you can't make up the quizzes.  So that sucks.  But in general, I think this will be tie or even surpass Shakespeare, so I'm pretty excited.

In other news, if you don't know me personally and happen to read this, please don't stalk me, because that would be scary.
