It almost seemed silly, really. She owed hours and he owed hours and she would have been entirely happy to spend the day with him without even being a part of the auction. But, she wouldn't have thought it fair to host the thing without putting herself in, for equality. Still, she had plans for Charlie and they had to do with her winnings.
Really, she was quite the lenient ruler, as it were. She'd come with a bowl-full of oranges, lemons, and sugar and was knocking on his door. Juice and stories, that was all she really wanted.
