What a relief!
I turned in my application packet for grad school today! *phew* It's so nice having that off my back.
Lets see, whats new in the life of Jessie?
Well, I've been absolutely swamped with school work, but thats fairly normal for me. I was assigned to a Kindergarten classroom for my first practicum and its such a blast! I really think that Kindergarten might be my dream job. Granted, I know I can't pick which grade I get, its just not a luxury that teachers have, but its so much fun.
Also, Andrew and I got a Sugar Glider about 3 weeks ago. She is such a sweetheart! We named her Kayla and shes bonding to us really well. For those of you that dont know, sugar gliders are very tiny marsupials that look kind of like chipmunks. They usually live in colonies, so when their young they bond to their owners as if they were other gliders. They eat fruits and veggies and each one has its own personality. Very cool pet. Unfortunately, we were supposed to drive back down to VA beach this weekend to get her a friend, but the breeder has mis-sexed her joeys, and the little girl we wanted actually started to show little boy parts. It doesnt happen often, but it does happen. So now we either have to wait for a little female joey to be born, or find another breeder that we can trust.
In other news, planning of our wedding is getting no where, At all. Neither of us seem to have the time to put a lot of effort into it, and it just seems to stupid to start spending my parents money when the economy is in the shitter. Ah well. We'll get to it, we have to. Soon too!
Hmmm.... Well I suppose thats it for now. Fredericksburg is pretty boring on average. I cant wait to get a break from school and do some things that are fun! Guh.
