Four Days Marches
Ahhh so much fun, today the 40,000 people walking the International Nijmeegse Four Days Marches are passing through my street. It's only day 2, so the party is only halfway! I've seen American soldiers, semi-awesome British Bobbies, lots of veterans, and especially respect to those ex-mariners, they're like 60 or 70, and they participate in the 4 Days Marches every year. Really, it's great fun, I can watch the whole thing from my living room.

It is also Pink Wednesday, which means tolerance, equality, love = love, and lots of gay. I heard today that one of my best friends who was walking the 50 km (200 total) had to quit today because of injuries :-( every year around this time I feel like I need to participate. Maybe I will :-)
I haven't even mentioned the festivities in town, the best one is De Affaire (The Affair), which is a really laid back indie/rock festival, with great music, and beer.Most of the time I just chill there because the city is really crowded. And I saw this guy at De Affaire, last night. Lead singer of an Israelian band called Monotonix. I'm not sure about this. If that were you dad....
