Forensics tonight.
I wrote my introduction and transitions this morning. We went over my entire piece tonight after school. When I got done, Ms. Mlodik just said,
"Honestly, how much have you practiced since last time?"
So I was thinking ohshitIfailedomgI'mgoingtodie!
I answered honestly and said, "Not a lot."
And she looked surprised and told me I had done almost everything right. =)
So yayyyy.
I have to have my entire introduction and both of my transitions memorized by Monday though. We're going to be having a meeting with the entire group, and sharing our pieces. And I'm scared, because I don't have any of it memorized yet, and I know for a fact that some of the other people are better than me. =/
The dates are coming up really fast.
12th = practice meet
17th = level one meet
& then if I go on, there's district and state....or is it regional and state....? I don't know which comes first.
But anyway, the point is it's coming up really fast and I'm nervous as fuck. But yeah.
Band today was fun. Mr. Eckhardt worked with the flutes on the choir we're working on for Solo & Ensemble. It's a really nice piece, I like it. And somehow, I got put on second flute. And it's fun. And yeahhh.
Dude. I felt so bad in Latin today. We have rolling office chair thingies in the iTV lab, and Graham was being silly and was like, "Sarah, push me around on the chair!"
So I was joking around, and I was pretending to run him into the wall of TV's...but then I underestimated his weight and accidentally did. >.< He hit his arm on the corner of the metal thingy the TVs are mounted on, and apparentally it was quite painful.
Sarah = a bad person.
Holy shit, I have a lot of homework tonight. I spent, like, forty minutes on it after forensics practice while I was waiting for the late bus, but I still have work left to do for at least three subjects tonight. =/
But whatever. The snow day [even though it wasn't technically a "snow" day] yesterday was worth having a shitload of homework tonight.
I wanted there to be no school today, too. But it's Gibraltar, so there was school.
Tomorrow I get to go to a Peninsula Players concert at the church, and it makes me happy.
