So we had this craving for pot pies and Curt decided to buy the Marie Callendar's ones cause they
came in different flavors and the other ones look puny. One of the reasons the Marie Callendar ones are not puny is that they are full crust pies. Yesterday I pulled one out to have for lunch and saw that it was 560 calories which is a whopping lot. Actually in the literal Whopper range, but I figure what the heck...well, guess what? A single pot pie is TWO servings. Yes, that's true. One pie has 1120 calories!! Curt looked at the amount of fat, but I was afraid to.
Other than that, nothing much is going on. I have some mild bronchitis/asthma from the cold I had last week which is finally clearing up enough that I'm not waking up in the middle of the night trying to catch my breath.
Hustle passed his vet check, but I've been too ill to go out there this week, so we haven't officially purchased him yet. I called Sonja about coming out maybe tomorrow morning to do so.
The house cleaning is not as far along as it should be but things have been laundered. That's some progress. I just noticed my DSL connection went out again but bumped back in so I'll post this while I still can!
