Birthday can leave you wondering and suddenly very aware. . .

So as my good friends know yesterday was my 20 Birthday! Yay for me no more teenager bull shit! A lot of you were so nice and called and said happy birthday, gave me gifts and even made me gifts ( I LOVE IT RODNEY)! And Im having a fabulous Birthday weekend with my friends. But for some reason a birthday, while its suppose to be supremely happy with no let downs at all, can result in some eye opening things. Needless to say, certain people not only neglected to say happy birthday but some just ignored it all together. Some of these people had been in my life for many years and almost every birthday was celebrated with them, i understand that a rift had been formed but you would expect, something, at least a hi. Birthdays are important. Others I have been nothing but nice to and i end up getting snubbed. I'm not begging for a pity party i dont want that i have wonderful friends that do care, i just have come to the conclusion your birthday can very quickly allow to recognize your true friends. When i say those who didnt say happy birthday im talking about people who im really close to, if i see you once and awhile i dont expect you to remember my birthday, you have a million birthdays to remember. I'm talking about people who i thought were better than that.
