rupp, jenny, mara, rose, patton and i saw 'saved'. i absolutely adored it!
so things are CRAZY right now! this week is key west with the girls, next week is the wedding and i'm just over the top excited about both events. i've also started thinking about... .... .... getting a job? haha. even though i know i don't HAVE to, i really think that i should for several reasons:
1. I need to experience more independence and job interaction
2. I'd like to start saving money now so that when i'm finished with school,
perhaps i can move out on my own, or use the cash to become an entrepreneur.
I've been incredibly blessed to have the situation i'm in and have always been in... but sometimes i really think i'm missing out on some very important life skills, experiences and lessons by never having to get a job... or when i actually have worked, it's been for... my parents. i really need to break off a little and get out there.
I've also started thinking about volunteering. I really wanna work with kids. I have sooo much time on my hands and i have good social skills, i really think i could do good things. I'm waiting to hear back on a few requests. So far, i've requested mentoring, volunteer art teacher for outdoor city murals, tumbling instructor, crises line volunteer, and aiding runaway children. I'm excited but i'm nervous too! I've never volunteered before, i just hope i have what it takes to be positive.
