Well, I haven't updated in a long time so here goes...
Yesterday was Valentine's Day. I took half the day off so Robin and I could hang out together. We went to see Hitch and it was a good show. We laughed out loud a couple of times - which is a good sign. It was sweet and a little predictable - but that was ok.
Brynn and Cameron came over for dinner. We had a really nice time with them. Now I'm going to brag a little bit - so if you don't like bragging you don't have to read the rest.
We think we have 3 of the greatest kids on earth. They are all kind, compassionate, loving, sensible and intelligent people. They are all also quite good looking which they get from me. :) Sometime - and I'm not sure when this happened - they all grew up in to most wonderful young adults. We are so blessed to not have to worry all the time about the choices our kids are making because we trust them. We haven't gone through anything like what so many of our friends have experienced with their kids.
Don't think we are just being stupid or naive about this. Our kids are really good people - not perfect - but able to make good decisions that they won't have to regret later. We are so proud of our kids - and we don't say it nearly often enough. We love you all so, so, so much - all the way to the moon and back.
The thing about our kids that thrills me the most is that they are all committed to living as Christians. They have chosen the most excellent way - and the rewards are going to be more than any of us can imagine. When your kids walk with the Lord, somehow everything seems better. It's the prayer of every Christian parent I know - and our prayers have been answered with a resounding "yes". We are so blessed to have each of you and we thank God for the privilege and honor of raising you.
All my love,
Mom
