maybe it's just a front or maybe they don't want to think about it(denial).
it's not important, what's important is you getting through this.
you are and you will, every day gets better, even if it doesn't seem like it.
october 14th was the anniversary of eric's death, all the years before this i'd be depressed and thought about it all day...this year was different, i actually had fun and i didn't think about it at all. i haven't forgotten about him or what happened by any means, but i've gotten over the pain.
i sometimes feel guilty for it...but thinking about what i should have done, how much i miss him, all the things i never got to say to him, why he did it, etc etc...will never bring him back.
you're right though...you'll never, ever be the same again. it's a life changing experience.
just stay strong,keep talking, and take it as a lesson to cherish everyone you have now and your own life because you never know what could happen.
